We came in a listless cat on a Sunday. We arrived between 1:30 and 2:00… don’t recall exactly as we were upset. Checked in and was told to wait in the lobby until a room became available. We saw many patients come and go as we sat there until 4 pm. We cuddled our cat, waiting patiently. No one checked on us or gave us an update on when we could be seen. I was forced to take a leave of absence to deal with a very serious family matter. Involving my small child, in fact. I was told by management to “take as much time as I needed, and come back when you’re ready”. I tried to come back approximately 3 weeks later, and was left hanging for a few days. I believe my situation may have been a one-off, however, my experience was unfortunately poor. I had a cat that was having respiratory problems and initially I was very happy with the care received during the overnight. What I was told seemed to make sense to me. However, the following day as I reviewed the prescription instructions, it noted to give the medication every 2 hours. I called to clarify and was told by the "nurse" that the script was correct. Worst experience ever, over 7 hour wait. Awful communication from staff and attending veterinarian. After a shift change, a very professional vet explained the possible diagnosis as first vet was unable to provide details in a concise and non-alarming matter. Additionally, over $900 for a few x-rays and tablets. Next time I will go back to Blue Pearl.

Brought in Frankie Waffles for a mass on her neck last night. Dropped her off at 6:45pm and waited for the vet to call with an evaluation. I called at 8pm because I hadn’t heard back from them yet. The receptionist completely blew me off when I asked for an update and told me the vet hadn’t done rounds yet and to go home. When in fact she was ready to go and just needed some antibiotics.
