Their service is poor! Their prices are outrageous. We will not be back in unless it is a last resort. They immediately take your dog from you when you enter then make you wait long periods. I met my wife there. I asked to see my dog and they told me only after I paid my deposit.

Business response:

Phil, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, and we are sincerely sorry that it was less than ideal. Given that we are an emergency and specialty hospital, our team has extensive schooling and training, so prices can often be comparable to human medicine. Long wait times often mean our hospital has a high volume of critical cases at that time. We understand how frustrating it can be, and we appreciate your patience. We understand your decision not to return but we do hope you know we are always here ... read more

They encouraged one of their staff members Isabelle to not only take a lost cat home without trying to find more info on it but encouraged her to keep it even when the owner was finally found!!!! Then when the owner picked it up they was telling her how bad of a person she was etc. horrible place!!! Do not take your animals there! Staff member Isabelle is a thief! How dare y’all! I hope the REAL owner takes y’all to court for slander, defamation of character and theft! And I hope Isabelle goes to jail for what she did! The r... read more

Horrible experience with my sick kitty no compassion, no understanding, no sympathy, no empathy. Did not even try to see it from my point of view. Rude, not heartfelt. My kitty was just another number. I couldn't be with my cat the entire time, which was a few hours. Sitting in the lobby with no privacy. Poor documentation in what treatment was done, weak/poor discharge instructions. The rude employee continued her rude behavior and would not check me out at the end. Refused to answer any questions. I was just a waste of t... read more

Thanks Melissa Allen for charging me $7,000 to kill my entire litter. STEER CLEAR FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL AT ALL.

Business response:

You never paid $7000. We have records. We hospitalized at your request.

RUN!! BEWARE THEY KILLED OUR DOG!!! We brought our dog Zoey in after first taking her into Blue Pearl Vet Hospital (great Vet Hospital FYI) and they drained about 2 liters of fluid from her and prescribed 5 days’ worth of Denamarin & Amoxicillin. Within 24 hours, Zoey was completely back to her usual spunky self, her jaundice went away in her eyes and she was eating regularly and was super playful. The medications ran out and Zoey's stomach began to swell again, meaning there was an underlying toxicity and some kind of liv... read more

first off, Sunday night my puppy started having seizures so we drove almost an hour to this facility. we were there maybe 20 minutes before she said we would need to euthanize our girl. the vet said she wouldn't make it and she was unresponsive when nugget was brought in the room to us she started trying to get up and wanted help (clearly responsive) she's now playing outside with my daughter and has been running around the house playing with my cat. she said the chances of her ever getting better were basically zero.. and y... read more

Business response:

We are happy to hear your puppy is doing well. We made recommendations based on the circumstances presented. Our recommendations and treatment options were far more extensive than what is written here. We would be happy to have a member of our management team follow up with you if you'd like. Our goal is to do the best for each patient in our care.

I am here at the clinic now and I just want to say how unprofessional I think Dr. Gomez is. I am a nurse practitioner and she has the nerve to judge me because I tried to take care of my dog. I am u

Business response:

As a nurse Practitioner, if someone brought you their child who they tried to suture a wound shut without proper equipment or any pain medications along with inappropriate follow up care, you would have to report them as a mandated reporter. It's failure to seek proper medical care and we could make an argument for abuse. On top of that, you are practicing Veterinary medicine without a license which is a reportable offense against your own license (thank you for this documentation on what you have done). Part of pet ownersh... read more

Dr Mick was the most insensitive person during our visit. My dog had labored breathing and he had the audacity to ask why we brought our dog in. We drove 56 minutes in the middle of the night to bring our sweet boy to the emergency vet for answers and to help him. We drove back to our area and went straight to our vet another hour and 20 minute drive. My sweet baby boy passed yesterday morning at our vet’s office and I’m angry and hurt by the treatment we received in Overland Park. I would not recommend taking your ani... read more
