I am writing this review while suffering from pulp necrosis in one of my front teeth. About eight months ago, I had what was supposed to be a small filling done to the tooth. Unfortunately, my dentist (which happened to be Dr. Chabaan of Oxford Dental) drilled way too much of my tooth away, irreversibly damaging the pulp within it. The tooth has now died apparently and is causing me an excruciating amount of pain and my face is currently swollen upto my eye. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a small routine restoration ... read more

I'm not sure where to start on this review.. I never in my life thought I would have the chance of encountering a more unprofessional dental service. From the poor treatment of his staff, to inappropriate comments, to shotty dental work- this guy could use a lesson or two in how to operate a successful practise. Only six months after seeing him several times I had nearly all of my recently done fillings were either failing or had been done improperly. Every time I went in for an appointment I was in a high level of discomfor... read more

I went to see dr.Chabaan to fill a couple cavities... what a nightmare a week and a half later im in agony with a toothache in the tooth he supposedly fixed that NEVER had paid prior to the appointment. His assistant who id never seen there before couldnt get the blue laytex piece with clamps over my tooth and gouged my gums with the metal piecies ... not to mention i couldnt breath due to a cold and tried to cancel a few days before my apt since i was sick but they assured me that I would be fine. When he was doing the fill... read more

This dentist was not helpful at all and just made it more difficult for me to seek cosmetic treatment on my teeth. He quoted me a certain price and then changed the price afterwards. I wasted time with xrays and eventually had to go somewhere else.

Good use of the word misogynistic. That is exactly how I would describe my experience with this doctor. I think he just feels a sense of entitlement and grandeur with women. It is truly sad that he doesn't understand the value of being a good person before being a dentist, it would really help his practice business-wise. He's not even a very good dentist really, as he damaged one of my teeth when he did a root canal. He's also not very good at accepting his mistakes and blames his staff or gets very defensive (I think he's p... read more

Was downright rude to his hygienist and berated her in front of not just myself but other staff and patients. She was having issues setting a dental dam on my tooth, something that all dentists have had issues with my teeth. When it wasn't complete when he came back in he started to yell and demean her for not having it in. He then rushed my appointment as he was overbooked and did not correctly set my bite contact after filling. I had to go to another dentist to have it ground and corrected. I hope he eventually crosses the... read more

I agree with all of the negative comments posted. Not a professional man at all. He's busy being a troublemaker rather than focusing on practicing dentistry in his office. That's the reason he's usually running late with his appointments. Clearly, he doesn't value his patients and any knowledge or talent he may have in his profession is lost and smothered by his swearing. I'm also surprised as to how the police are not involved. Dr. Chaaban is not even safe to be around. He may be able to keep up appearances for a short peri... read more

Ive know Oxford Dental/Dr.Chaaban and staff for 4 months and i had horrible memories! if it hadnt been for the girls at the office, I wouldnt even lasted for months at the office! its a shame hes so rude to them because they really do run the office for him! if it werent for them, im sure hed lose alot more patients than he already has. hes rude, runs late, yells, swears and has no regard for who is around to witness. patients are nervous enough to come and see the dentist. they want to be able to trust the professional that... read more

After 18 years of going to Oxford Dental, I'm now looking for a new dentist. I'm glad I never went to this site prior to my check-up, because it might have biased me. But I was so disappointed after my yearly check-up that I was actually driven to check him out afterwards. It's a shame Dr. Chaaban hasn't learned anything from these ratings and made some positive changes with respect to how he treats his patients and staff. After my cleaning, I waited on him for over 30 minutes, and not because he was attending to another pat... read more
