We are new to the area but have boarded our dog there several times already and are extremely happy with Pacific Vet. They are super friendly, warm and kind. When I asked for a tour of the facility before we had made the decision to board there - they were happy to give it - and everything was clean and smelled about as good as you could hope for. When we last boarded our dog, our dog bed had a small hole/tear in it and we we picked her up, the staff there had sewed it back together for us. Seriously, who does that? Thank yo... read more

I have been taking my pets to Pacific Vet for almost 10 years. I would recommend this vet to anyone. I have worked with almost all of the doctors and had great experiences with all of them. One of my cats had a very rare auto immune disease that Dr. Nolte diagnosed and treated successfully. I have a couple of very difficult cats that the staff have always been very patient and compassionate with. I have been bringing my animals to Pacific Veterinary Hospital since 1983, when I moved to the neighborhood. Without exception, I have always been impressed with the veterinarians and the staff: knowledgable, friendly, concerned when appropriate, helpful, willing to spend the time necessary for a complete examination and discussion of options, and armed with current information. I take my cat's to Pacific Vet for all their needs. I've had only pleasant experiences there. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to anyone in need of great veterinary care.

I've been using Pacific Veterinary Hospital for my pet's primary care for 15 years. I've seen every doctor there, but Dr. Grossen is the one I prefer. I appreciate how attentive she is to me and my pet's needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I won't see any other vet.

I have been here twice. Once for an emergency and I went back for my cat's yearly appointment. They treated my really difficult cat so well. They are the only vet that I've ever taken her to that can handle her and make her (and me) feel comfortable!

Pacific Veterinary Hospital We have been using this office since we moved here in 2008. We have 2 cats, one of which has extensive medical issues. The entire staff at PVH have always been professional and caring. They have assisted me several times researching certain medications or treatments. They keep current on the latest methods and technology. We have always been able to count on them when a problem arises, or we need supplies. Excellent attention from Dr. Grossen to our elderly Great Dane and our ailing elderly cat. Took the time to discuss GD's future, possible additional approaches to relieve her arthritis pain, and tell us a bit about herself. Seems very competent. Our pack (2 dogs and 2 cats) has found its vet in Portland.

This is a five star place for me, been going here for about 20 years or so, five different dogs so far in that time frame. I am sure there are cheaper places but these people have always treated my pets and I very well.
