PVH is amazing. We have had nothing but positive experiences bringing in our dog, an Australian Cattle Dog/Aussie Shepard mix. We went to PVH seeking a smaller, community like feel versus the "doc in a box" feel at our previous vet and that's what we found. Dr. Nolte recently spent plenty of time with me, making sure I understood what was going on, actually listening to my concerns, regardless that the clinic was about to close for the day. Dr. Grossen was recommended for our pup's spay by the whippet rescue, as she has the most experience with whippet surgeries in the Portland area. The location and curb appeal are unfortunate, and the front desk staff are uninformed, but the techs and the doctor were fantastic. Dr. Grossen spent over an hour just talking to us, getting to know our dog, and answering our questions on our first visit!
I've been going to PVH for over 10 years and even though I now live on the other side of portland, I would never consider changing vets! The staff is always so helpful. Wether it be getting me a prescription, answers to questions or even helping me carry my baby out to the car they always offer the best service. The personal care we receive from the veterinarians is excellent. This morning I found out my cat had worms, so I called PVH and asked if they did walk-ins. The gal I spoke to said no, but they luckily had an opening and within the hour I was in the office filling out paperwork. I am new to the area and hadn't found a good vet yet, but now I know I have! The ladies at the front desk were friendly and welcoming, and the doctor that ended up treating my cat was Paige Pierce who I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately, we've had to take our cat here a handful of times in the past year for a handful of malfunctions (she's a real lemon I tell ya). We live around the corner so it's very convenient. While I'm no vet hospital connoisseur I can say that I have been very pleased with the customer service for humans, understanding of the pet's fears, and thorough explanations we've received about the cat's various ailments. I have used this cinic for years. I think they are fantastic. I only use Dr. Pierce and Dr. Frost. They are both very compassionate and thorough, but very learned and experienced as well. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend these two vets at the clinic,
If you are looking for excellent care for a furry friend of yours, look no further. I have been taking my 4-legged friends here for many many years and have been extremely satisfied. The staff - all of them- are wonderful. They are compassionate and caring, both over the phone and in the office as well. I would recommend Pacific Vet without hesitation.
I have been taking my aging dog (who is emotionally fragile) and cat here for 6 years and could not be more pleased with both the care and professionalism with which they are always treated. The dog was mauled by a neighbor's german shepherd, and the entire team at Pacific helped her heal from terrible injuries. She was hospitalized for 3 weeks and they gave her nothing but TLC.
