Came here for the Pam beach zoo lights so this review is limited to the night time experience of the zoo. I had really high hopes for the zoo lights after all the advertising and myself being a Christmas fanatic. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed (partly due to my high expectations). The zoo was beautifully decorated with lights but it was not the Christmas spectacular you expect. It was simply lights around trees. You could barely see the animals at night so I wouldn't go expecting to see them. When you first enter, there i... read more
Gonna rate the soft pretzel at the cafe a 20 out of 10 experience. The workers at the zoo are so friendly, an added bonus. Beautiful zoo!
Visited the Palm Beach Zoo December 2020 and had a really fun day. This zoo is considerably smaller than Zoo Miami but still manages to have tons to see in a reasonable timeframe. It is good for all ages, from little kids to entire families to adults alone. Anyone who appreciates and likes to see animals will have a good time. The enclosures are well laid out and most of the wildlife is visible at most times of the day. We didn't have too many situations where the animals were sleeping and not visible. If you see absolutely ... read more
My boys and I had a wonderful time at the zoo. We actually have a family membership. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The zoo is well kept and the animals seem happy. Feeding the birds is the best part. And let's not forget they do have fountains for the little kids to plan. Riding the merry-go-round and three condiment containers of nectar juice to feed the birds are about five dollars each item. They do have a kids nature play area near the merry go round. Definitely a hidden treasure!
My boyfriend and I spontaneously decided to stop by the Palm Beach Zoo, since the weather was perfect! Pros: well kept, cute layout, not overly crowded. I love that they have rescued a lot of the animals. If you really take your time looking at each animal, you can spend about 2-3 hours there. Cons: pricey for what's there ($25 per adult). no shows or live talks advertised, some animals were not visible in their habitats. and a bit smelly
The Palm Beach Zoo is a must if you live in the area or you're coming in from out of town. It does get super hot so bring sun screen and a hat. It gets pretty smelly too Emily at the front desk was very helpful. It's good to see at least once
This has been my all time favorite zoo forever!!!!! No other zoo compares! Lots of shade, not crazy walking since zoo is compact. Great variety of animals and nice water play area! I hadn't been here for several years since my kids grew up. But now I have a grandson and we were ready to take him this morning. I looked up the reviews, just because. After reading them I was a bit concerned that COVID had done them in, and it wasn't amazing as it once was. But I was wrong! They have done an amazing job getting everything ba... read more
The West Palm Beach Zoo is a perfect place to visit with your children, I took my little nephew there and he loves it. The zoo is divided into four parts, The Islands, Asia, Tropics of the Americas, and Florida Wetlands. Additionally, it has a water fountain in which children can play, so make sure to bring your bathing suit. Is it possible to feed the animals? Oh Yeah!!! it's possible. The zoo sells $3 bagged food for lorikeet loft or you can pay for the "animals experiences". What about Animals Experiences? The zo... read more
A little expensive, but overall is a super nice zoo. It's convenient and sized well to walk through once or twice in a few hours. The little cafe was delicious and had a sweet view. There aren't a lot of animals, compared to a lot of other larger reviews, but still a lot to see. The carousel is super nice and the splash pad in the entrance is nice for kids!
