This was the first time in a long time that my family has visited the zoo, and we loved it! Many things had changed, but all for the better, it seemed. For starters, the zoo was incredibly clean! From what I could tell, there was not a single piece of trash anywhere on the grounds. I also remember that there used to be quite a large amount of bird poop around, and there wasn't any that we could see. We did not eat at the restaurant, but we did eat at the quick service stand next to the restaurant. It took quite a bit of t... read more
Great zoo to take the kids and any family. Price wasn't too bad when we went. Zoo is small but there are a lot of animals to see and kids really enjoy it. Staff are friendly and helpful and will answer any questions you may have on a certain species.
this was such a cool zoo and we did the animal experiences, which were absolutely incredible. I definitely recommend the tortoise experience, the woman who ran that was extremely informed and welcoming. the whole zoo is gorgeous as well and is a great photo op.
First, they have great parking available in the shade exactly in front of the zoo. They offer a military discount where the military personnel receives free admission and the family receives 50% off. It was well worth it! Secondly, they had such playful river otters that enjoyed your attention and the coolest area of Aztec looking sculptures and buildings. The only thing I would change about the place would be to provide access from one area of the zoo to the other without having to go all the way back to the fountain in or... read more
Great place fun for the children, the restaurant is better than expected and the costumer service was outstanding (Tammy has really good costumer service.) Definitely a must.
Beautiful, clean, lots of shade and the animals all looked healthy and well kept. I have been to hundreds of zoos, both in the States and in Europe. It is not fair to compare this smaller beautiful zoo to a larger famous zoo, such as the incomparable San Diego Zoo. They simply don't have the budget or the space for comparison. However, the Palm Beach Zoo is beautiful. I loved all of the abundant shade. I ate a delicious, reasonably priced meal in the full service cafe. The Disney like wheel and hub system was ver... read more
This is a nice zoo. They got rid of the shows though. I don't know why. Plenty of animals and a splash pad.
While I do not support or agree with the zoo ethics, we had fun here. We spent about three hours and we saw a lot of animals. We even got the chance to see koalas upclose! It was definitely an experience for sure! I did however see many animals, like the tiger and the fox among many that were pacing back and forth....I feel like some of the animal habitats should be broadened and have more space. Admission is $25 which is usually the price but for that price, do consider adding variety to the habitat.
Great place to visit. Wide variety of exotic animals. Not so big that you feel rushed trying to experience everything. Concession stand crew was kinda slow to acknowledge me and take my order; but the cheeseburger was huge and served with a lot of french fries. The ample food portions, fresh preparation and great taste made the typically-inflated concession stand prices palatable. Other crew persons throughout the conservatory, especially at the panther and crocodile stations, were very patron-aware and provided lots of info... read more
