Perfect Penthouse on Harbour This property is beautifully appointed, furniture, kitchen, large patio, down to the large ice maker. It is the only 2 story villa with regular stairs vs spiral staircase. The only weakness was that the basic kitchen equipment needs updating (coffee maker, frying pans) and the basic items like forks, wine glasses need to be increased to service for 6 or 8.

Overall, a nice place to stay... Pros: this two bedroom condo was very clean and had plenty of room for two couples (along with a child or two.) The condo was nestled in a quiet area with extremely easy access to a nice swimming pool and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was stocked to meet all of our needs. Cons: We had family staying across the street and they were provided an ample supply of beach accessories and bikes...would have been a nice addition to this place. VaCasa is a horrible Property Manager!!!!! First of all, this unit is everything represented. The owner, Dr. Kraft is an amazing host and very attentive to anyone staying in her beautiful condo. We loved the unit and would recommend the property to anyone wanting to be right on top of the beach, allowing the waves to serenade you to sleep every night. The property management company, VaCasa is something else entirely. Without our knowledge, they sent a technician into the unit to repair a clothes dryer without our knowledge ... read more

I have changed my management company to the Palmetto Dunes Resort Rentals program. They have assured me no guest will experience what these guests did. They are dedicated to excellent customer service and having guests enjoy their stay at the resort. This change will also mean discounts on dining, golf, bike rentals, etc. within the resort. Also the car passes can now be picked up at the entry to Palmetto Dunes. I was appalled by what happened to this guest.
Family Vacation Great condo with perfect views of the ocean. The resort was very nice with golf, pickle ball facilities and bike rental. Highly suggest bikes and exploring the island. This was our first time to HHI and was one of our best vacations. Will definitely come back.
Bad check in process but everything else is fantastic There are some contradictions. Initially told that we have to go to an office several miles from the property to get our welcome package. Then received a message from the owner saying the management company would bre sending a welcome package, only to find out we still had to pick it up. Management company dropped the ball and didn't have it on their list, so took some doing but it all got straightened out. The property is very nice. Thank-you for letting me know the dryer is still squeaking. It needed a repair for a different problem and started squesking the day after that repair. We had them back about 2 weeks ago to fix the squeak they left us with but evidently they didn't fix it.. I've scheduled them to come out again. I'm sorry about the reservation mix-up. If you book directly through Resort Rentals (for about $400 dollars more than VRBO) they mail the welcome package to you. Beautiful view, but beware the HVAC system, the outdoor furniture and the kitchenware! Beautiful view of the ocean and huge trees in the courtyard! It is as if one is in a treehouse. Amazing. The balconies are large and one is covered. This is what you are paying for. We even saw deer in the courtyard below. But the negatives are too many to overlook and will keep us from returning. The King bed is comfortable but the blinds are missing a few slats. The HVAC system in the smaller bedroom clanks, thuds, and squeals throughout... read more
