We just flipped the switch 11 days ago, so time will tell. From 1st contact (door-to-door person) to flipping the switch, Palmetto employees and contractors made sure we knew what would happen - and what DID happen - every step of the way. The install guys worked fast and efficiently. My only beef is the mess. There were piles of sawdust, concrete dust, etc in a number of places inside the house and out. Met with a sales rep via virtual call. Nice guy but I guess he didn’t like my answer when I told him I was still getting proposals from other companies. He never sent me a quote despite multiple attempts to remind him. If they are this unresponsive in providing you with a simple proposal, imagine their after service.?

The panels and installation went fine, there customer service after they have you as a paid customer is horrible. I've been 2 weeks with no production due to the second inverter going bad, it seems like these inverters are built to fail after 12 months. They don't want to have a conversation about the issue they would prefer to chat with you online.

Two months after install and no power can’t pass inspection what a waste
This company is the worst. My AC disconnect switch started smoking and melting wires over 2 months ago. It could have burned my house dow . They hired a Mickey Mouse company that didn’t fix it and now they will not return my calls. Every week I call and every week they tell me that they will call me back in a few days. They never call back. Still waiting…They are the worst….several months ago my system stopped communicating because Solar edge was upgrading to 4G…palmetto charged me $300 + to hire a third party to come out an... read more
My system has been down for a month. Can’t get a call back from anyone. The call center is no help and you can’t talk to anyone in charge. Mickey Mouse company.
Horrible decision. Regret ever bit of it. Customer service sucks. Going on a month with no solar production. Was basically told I have to contact Solar Edge. I didn’t buy my inverter from solar edge. You did. Not my problem you use shitty products. I was told my electric bill would be $16. Has not happened yet. Steer clear of this company. Nothing but pure trash. I’ve initiated three calls this month. Told someone would call me back in 24-48 hours. If I could give negative stars I would. But I’m forced to leave at least one.... read more
Palmetto was the recommended installer by the sales co., Victory Power. I was told they were a large company, experienced in solar installation and service after installation. This turned out to be farthest from the truth. Palmetto FORGOT to send payment for the permits. I was even contacted by the local inspector about this and told he was unable to contact them about this. I had the sales rep. finely contact them.
