I have found everyone to be extremely helpful with helping me get my mom situated and comfortable in her new living arrangements. The staff is always there to answer any questions and help in any way they can. It's an open door policy which makes it feel more like a family. My mother loves her apartment and the cleanliness of the facility. The nursing staff is always there to make sure my mother receives all her care. We picked this community, because I liked the cottage feeling. The staff was friendly and answered all questions. Seems more like a home atmosphere which was better for my mom.

The staff members are nice, but there is just not enough and they have difficulty reaching out loved one by phone due to the staffing shortages. When it comes to the quality of care that is so far so good. We have never seen any meals, and there were no activities going on until recently. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families but with the understanding that communication can be difficult

I toured with Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley and it has two buildings. The rooms in one and meals and activities in the other. That set up was not going to work out well for our mother. Plus, there was no outdoor courtyard or area to sit enjoy the weather. These are the main reasons we did not choose Pacifica.

In July, I unexpectedly was thrown into the world of memory care assisted living, and for those people who have had to experience this, it can be greatly overwhelming from the hospital to the behavioral health center to finding a safe reliable memory care assisted living facility that actually had an opening. Facility was nice in the beginning. Right now they are having issues with staffing, meals and Covid doesn't help much. Other facilities are below this facility the other facilities I toured are near by not like Pacifica Senior Living.
