Horrible customer service, lack of communication, and timeliness of completion. Our project began mid April. We were told this project would take 1-2 weeks **** as of June 24, 2023 we are on week 11 and our project is not even close to being completed. The communication with this company is awful. I call the local office and get no response, or very little. I contact the cooperate office and they have to send an email to the local office to have someone call you. I bought a home in April of 2021 and in May 2021 signed a contract to have my patio enclosed with the screen and glass sliding windows and doors. I have had 2 years of nothing but problems since then. The 1st time they came out to install everything was not to correct size. The installers went and purchased lumber to make my patio fit their parts. WRONG! That is not what I ordered plus the doors and windows opened on the side and were not the size ordered. Dear ******************* and *********************, I ordered the installation of my patio enclosure in January 2023. The initial installation was incomplete and had many flaws. The second repair group came towards the end of February, where they realized they had to order doors because the doors were installed backward. I was out of the country Feb 28 thru Mar 25. Do not get their services, Patio enclosures and Great Day Improvements LLC! Save yourself from the trouble of their poor customer service especially with ************************** at their office. She is arrogant and no customer relations skills at all! They did not finish my home improvement project on time. They installed the wrong cord color for my blinds! There were long days of interruptions between their visits to finish our home improvement!

I am a subcontractor working for a great day LLC in Birmingham Alabama. I recently just started in my first two jobs that I had took weeks for to get paid and I still haven't I keep getting excuses on why I'm not getting paid. Worst company we ever dealt with - we signed a contract for a sun room in November of 2021 but was not completed until July of 2022. We had numerous issues during all phases of this project. Work crews using our back yard for their personal ash tray. Crews showing up for a couple of hours and not seen again for days. We had to constantly reach out to GDI to get a time frame on crew return. Poor quality workmanship / short cuts that took repeated returns to correct those issues. This experience was a total nightmare - we were originally told the project would take 3 to 4 weeks to complete and seven plus months later there are still some unresolved issues even though they were paid in full because they were threatening liens, etc. There were issues from the beginning - design flaws that took weeks to resolve - workers showing up for a day or two and not seen again for weeks...attempts to short-cut work...work that had to be re-done because of short-cutting -the product quality is not what is was port... read more

Sad totally pathetic, I spent $25,000 on a totally waste of a 3 season room.Totally a waste of my money.They did send people over to try to correct the situation, but to no avail. I purchased their Patio Enclosers product for a 3 season room. I have heat inside the room and a ceiling fan blowing for circulation to stop condensation nothing is stopping it. I also purchased double pane glass for more warmth in the room but all the metal frames are frozen with ice .There is no reason for this other than poor quality of the wind... read more
