Too much going on with the bill

Horrible customer service employees and manager experience!!! They haven't even sent me my handwritten check the bank stated it doesnt accept. Its been 12-13 days now and I switched power company and still await for my remainong balance refund and handwritten check. These people have caused me wasted money for cetified mailing, which I never recieved the return mailing receipt for. I had to go to the USPS office and get a print out for it, inorder to hold the signer reliable for my Monetary value that was inclosed.

This is absurd. I inquired about new service and somehow received two account numbers that were processed in my name for what should have been one account. I agreed to the service on the 28th a few days later my service was disconnected for non- payment. Reason: the money I initially paid was posted to the wrong account number. The clerk then processed the order to re-connect and transfer the funds. Cheap especially if you don’t use your A/C that much, user-friendly website, and daily texts that are accurate and will help you plan accordingly for your next payment. Best prepaid service I’ve had. The only weird thing was that I kept getting an email about paying 69 dollars to start my service when the website said I only needed 29. I got the same email after my service was already turned on. Fast and easy sign up. $20 minimum payment accepted on account with debit card online or by phone. The extension they offer is pulled automatically month to month until paid off. The electric balance is not pulled over the weekends but the use catches up the following Monday. Over all good company soo far.

They over charge. The meters aren’t read. When you reach out to them, they push you off on the center point and smart meter and they have no answers either. Shop elsewhere!

Thank you for your comments. Centerpoint owns the meters in your area and they transmit usage data from your meter every 15 minutes . This is passed on to us the following day and we bill you the day after that. Retail electric providers in Texas do not read meters but the Transmission and Distributions Utilities ( In your case , Centerpoint) forward their meter data daily and then perform a monthly meter read as well for auditing purposes. Very easy, they let you know how long your balance going to last to avoid negative balance and disconnection fee, so far so good
