I think the fact that you can pre-pay for your electric is amazing but what I don’t like is the fact that when you’ve been with them for a month or two they randomly charge you for electric you have not use. I have been charged for 40 to 44KW a day when nobody has been home for three days straight and the only breaker that was on in my house was my fridge breaker. So I’m very upset with the way they overcharge you and then won’t answer the phones call you back or respond email

I'm honestly confused by all the good reviews. I was being charged 10-20 dollars daily for electricity. That is 300-600 a month for a one-person apartment in a relatively even climate area. steer clear.

I just paid for new service yesterday, I was told on the phone, and through email via text message my power would be on in 4 to 6 hours, I get here today, no power, really unprofessional and dissappointing.

I hate the daily emails about my usage. I've written complaints and asked if there was a threshold I could change with no response. Also don't like that they charge you a fee if you don't select the suggested amount.

Mike – Your comments state that you do not like the message frequency and also do not like that there is a $4.95 fee if you do not pay at least $75 each time. These are understandable frustrations and there are solutions. While we cannot change the frequency of your messaging at this time, you can opt out of SMS messaging as long as you have email enabled. Also, by enrolling in autopay you can post payments as small as $40 with no fee. Call us at 888 963 9363 and we can assist with these items.
This company is garbage! Way worst than a regular electricity company! I urge you to rethink working with this company for lights in your home. There’s absolutely nothing convenient about having to pay 40.00 on a light bill every 3 days to keep the lights on, an on top of that every time you put money on the account they automatically take 4.95, so whatever amount you pay your balance will show up $-4.95( if you put 40.00 on your bill it will show a balance of 35.05 remaining) and if you don’t pay it in a timely manner they ... read more

The basic premise of pre-paid service is that you can get started for no deposit and with no credit check and that you must maintain a positive balance on your account to avoid a service interruption .
