Unethical to require minimum $150.00 or pay $4.98 fee. Terrible.

Susan- You comments state that you feel that it is unethical to charge a $4.95 fee for payments under $150. It’s always a concern if a new customer has these opinions about their electric company . Please note that all non-recurring fees from Payless Power are presented in the Electricity Facts label and Terms of Service documents that customers are asked to review prior to enrollment. This is a horrible electric provider I load about $50 on my account every other day and it is running through money like crazy I would advise anybody to go with any other company besides this one if I can give zero Stars I would.

They're very expensive. I had to get a fast light company so I went with this but as soon as I pay off my little 20 dollar credit I'm switching.. I'm paying $20 a day for my lights.

They went up so much that I'm struggling to keep lights on. Horrible company services. Used to be $75/$100 a month now over $400 a month. Ridiculous. I am still waiting for them to take a hold off me. Trying find better company. They drain you & charge give you less & fees...I have fibromyalgia & was told you pay for what you use. Not anymore. They blame it on inflation that's why they raised everything. Highly suggest get outta Payless Power!!!!

There are a couple of factors affecting all Texans this summer regardless of the provider you choose. The first is the wholesale cost of electricity. Very very bad service takes two hours to get hold of someone last two times somebody hung up on me. Very rude people. They would not tell you that you have to set up automatic payment I set up my account and after five days it was disconnected because I didn’t set up automatic payment. Took me two hours to get a hold of someone and they hung up on me twice. They just want to make money disconnecting your service reconnecting it again it’s a nightmare. I’ll give them zero stars

Its not a good thing when a customer does not realize how prepaid service works so your frustration in understandable. Please note that auto-pay is not a requirement for your plan. It is a great option that can ensure that your service in never interrupted but it is not a requirement.
