Just took our daughter there for her 9-month checkup, and the interaction with the doctor was great, he addressed all of our concerns, and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. One thing I'll say with in agreement with all the other reviews posted about this office, the wait time was a little too much. Keeping an infant waiting over 1/2 hour past appointment time is a no no, and my husband and I didn't really appreciate that. My 4 children have been going there since 1996. We absolutely love Dr Manuel Cobo!! We have never had an unpleasant experience. Dr Cobo has wonderful bedside manner and is very thorough. makes the children and parents at ease. a A+ + +

When our son was born we had to choose a pediatrician. Unfortunately we hadn't done our due diligence and went with the first option they gave us. Lucky for us, that option was GREAT! Dr. Garter has been seeing our son for 8 months now and is always caring, helpful and kind. He is also pro-breastfeeding and that is a big help when you need all the support that you can get! I said this once before and I'll say this again, choose a private pediatric doctor for your kids! I have a 20 yr old so we've had history with Pediatric Associates. They have severely gone down hill with care, costs, appointments, professionalism, etc. They need to revise the methods used to hire their healthcare physicians; they do not have any bedside manners. Trying to make an appointment is the most excruciating process. They don't want to answer your questions - they only want to force immunizations and medications for ... read more

The front desk girl was so ridiculously unprofessional that it was enough for me to never go back again. Plantation really needs to get it together. Aventura is not like this at all and I wouldn't normally go there but our dr was away and we needed to get in quick. An entire HOUR I stood at the desk while she was "verifying my insurance". funny thing is she was so spaced out that whenever she would pull up my info it would show an old insurance card from 2024 and tell me it's expired. Slow and terrible service. They always over book their patients. Showed up 30 minutes early before the appointment then had to waited another hour before a doctor and see our child.

I dont know where to start. I have a preemie that was born at 25 weeks and we have so much appointments that we need to go to but being with pediatric associates referral department has been a nightmare. My little preemie miss so much appointments because od them. The referral department is extremely slow and horrible. Pediatric Associates used to be so accommodating and helpful. Now just to get a paper for school is major mission.
