Overall very easy process that was communicated clearly to me. The documents were very easy to understand , and having the convenience of a notary coming to your house to finalize everything was the “icing on the cake”.

I received too many notices in the mail which created confusion for me. My closing had to be reset & delayed because my wife was added to the loan which I had requested from the beginning. Not a terrible experience just not what I expected knowing that PennyMac already had my loan. I'm not sure I got much of an advantage from re-financing.

It was apparent that NO ONE read my email! I was asking for tax forms to be sent to me from the first part of 2021, and the reply I got, obviously automated, said "As your email pertains to your existing mortgage with PennyMac, it can be best answered by one of the following: Website: www.PennyMacUSA.com Secure Messaging Online: 1. The refinance process was very easy. Was able to get a great lower rate saving us $150 a month.
