I live in a rural area and was told that I needed to get my water source tested. When I asked Sarkis where to get the water test he said it was fine to get it anywhere. I spent $150 on a test that met the requirements only to find out that it had to be done by the local health department. I was told that I would be reimbursed and I have still not received the reimbursment. The approval was on 10/14/21.
We have been with PennyMac for many years and they have always been great. If you are buying a house or refinancing you should give them a chance.

Everything was above my expectations
Just one thing…I was told my refi did not go through then I received a call it did. Just the confusion left me worrisome for a couple of days. Important part: I got the loan 😆!!!

I had two loans in process. For both loans information told to me did not take place at first. Luckily I had written down all details so both loans were corrected for the most part. The second loan had more problems. So programs laid out at the beginning did not happen later in the process when I had submitted all my paperwork. I read the documents that came to me and saw the discrepancies. I felt like someone was just hoping I would not notice.
