Great communication and follow through. When the local closing company made an error on the documents, PennyMac responded swiftly within the hour to redraft the documents to close on time.

The experience went great and I'm very happy that my payments were able to be lowered and my interest is better..
Better communications and expectations setting. I had to keep calling back to find out when closing would be and received different answers every time i call about how much i would need to bring to closing as well as if it had to be a certified check or not. I would never use Penny Mac for another loan, only used them this time as I thought since we were a current customer the experience would be easier, but this was not the case.
I refinanced with them when i already had a loan with them and they explained how i could lower my payments and still pay my mortgage off faster than before
Marcia was absolutely wonderful. She is the only one I felt like I could get on the phone and sincerely wanted to help. The documents and closing were the problem. My paperwork was not accurate. The deal changed after agreement and before closing. I love Pennymac, but was disappointed with this closing.
