Performed a ReFi with them and overall happy with the outcome. The customer service was great. The new interest rate and monthly payment is great. The only thing that they need to improve with is the information on the portal. It seems to be lagging. They kept requesting docs that I had already uploaded. Or, the latest documents for me to sign are not the latest. Notary came to our house and closing was smooth.
Christopher Keppler was always very pleasant to work with. His cheery and go-getter attitude made the refinance process worth it alone. Penny Mac has been apart of three of our loans now, and I’m always so happy to see they are who I am working with. Very pleasant and easy process.

Inability to communicate with the requisite personnel to get clarity on preceding steps. I felt I was given the run around; I was promised return calls and received zero follow-up. The process has taken so long that I am receiving calls from the collections department because I changed my auto drafts to coincide with the new loan. I am very disappointed with Penny at this point. If my issue is not resolved within 24 hours I am going to void the contract.
