Better communication.
The process took months longer because a basic document was requested from the appraisal company. That was ready days after the request was submitted. However; It was not communicated and no one followed up. By the time your agents received the document everything had expired. A new appraisal, Credit report, income document and title was needed. We basically had to start from the beginning. Which made the process take a lot longer than necessary. Started in June and closed in October..
Kelsey Meuser was AWESOME!!! From our 1st conversation, she was pleasant, friendly & clear in her communication. Throughout the process, even AFTER closing, she has been responsive to my needs & questions. Her demeanor was consistently pleasant & professional even with the few hiccups we had. She really made my refinance experience smooth & easy. I had some hesitation at 1st with refinancing with PennyMac given past experiences, but in I am so glad I did! Thank you Kelsey & PennyMac!
My experience with Brent was great so I adjusted this Survey for him and only him. Separately, PennyMac has some serious work to do on execution of Refinances. This survey is not how I truly feel about my experience with PennyMac it only reflects my appreciation for Brent.
Overall for me it was an OKAY process. Thanks to PennyMac. There were inaccurate information that was relayed to me. Information that are confusing and was never explained well. I feel answers were generic. The response time was slow. There was a miscommunication between the application loan officer and the Mac Team about pulling my credit with the 3 credit bureau.
We started off with a fantastic loan officer that clearly set expectations, promptly set up a document transfer site and was clear in explaining the process. Once things were under way I felt like I was moved to someone who knew less about my loan, had duplicate documents requested multiple times and then at the end there was confusion in my closing date which required us to move it out 2 more weeks. Having already been a PennyMac customer I would have expected this to have been quicker.
Upon the closing if there were any changes they were supposed have let me know. On the day of the closing the numbers we had spoken about previously did not match. I knew nothing about these changes. Received paperwork days after closing was done. Was told to get a cashier check for closing and apparently was needed and I lost $8 regarding this.
I do not wish to add any other comments about this survey for PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, as I feel this is just taking up my time durning my weekend and would like to do other things with my day other then writing this incredibly long commented sentence just so this survey from PennyMac Loan Services, LLC will let me hit the "Post My Review" button and continue on with my day.
