I did have to send the insurance coverage documents more than once only because whoever was reading them didn't read the WHOLE document which spelled out i was more than adequately covered. If I were asked again I would have canceled this loan. I ended up calling and explaining to them to read the document. Poor attention to details.

Penny Mac financed my previous home and they were wonderful; this is why I chose them for my new home. In spite of the Corona Virus breakout, staff with Penny Mac found out my closing date and made sure all my paperwork was completed in time. Great group to work with.

- Honesty: 36 month recoupment of fees for IRRL was promised but not met. - Communication: A majority of my emails and voicemails were never answered. Hold times were unreasonable. After hours communication was virtually impossible. Then denying my loan after weeks of dealing with these communication challenges even after you were informed that I was an essential healthcare worker and active duty military member during a pandemic seemed malicious.

Everything went smoothly and more quickly than I expected. Carlton and his team kept me up to date at all times and the one time documents were requested twice, they immediately found the missing items when I called about them.
