Process was easy. Good communication and very friendly

First, I should have been given the opportunity to have flexibility in my rate. I had no idea I "locked" it in when I did. I do know that I was told I paid $100 for a lower rate but on the papers I signed it looked like I paid $2000. The first lady I talked with should have been the one to have taken care of my account. PennyMac should have a program where the customer can lock in the lowest rate and this info should be discussed by your reps.
We have had only good experiences with PennyMac they have made the process simple and easy they also go out of their way to get you the best loans available to you. We appreciate all the time and effort put in by the teams at PennyMac.

Haveing just one person communicate with the client.. so both stay on the same page
Anna was very upfront and engaging with me the early days of the process. However, after I was passed along to the other team members, my experience became erratic. Team members didn’t callEd back, asked for the same documents repeatedly and never provided timely information. Both the title company agent and the real estate agent had to get involved to get the transaction completed. It was the most difficult home buying experience for me.
