Abdul did an amazing job but felt the ball was dropped after being handed over, and not from him. Initial close date was supposed to be January 7th, was told the day before (maybe day of busy timeframe) that my wife someone dropped off of the paperwork even though she was on the original loan... had to wait a minimum of 7 days for the paperwork to process. Set up next available date. No show, no call, I had to reach out the next day and ask what happened. Set up again, and completed 27 Jan.
The entire PennyMac team was very helpful throughout the loan process.

Tony & team were great to deal with! Easy and straightforward from start to finish...probably the easiest part of my move was the PennyMac portion. Only suggested change would be to review flexibility of charging for delayed closings if the market has decreased since lock as that cost could be absorbed. This is a policy issue and not something with which to penalize the team for. Overall enjoyed working with Tony, Beth and the Mac team!
Oscar Espinosa was very easy to work with ... as his manager Allen. I already have recommended Oscar / PennyMac ... a family member took a home loan out with Oscar.
Everything went smoothly as planned.
It was a very easy and seamless process.
I am 68 years old and have bought quite a few homes over the years, I also was in the real estate business for 10 years, in purchasing homes for myself or the several hundred homes that I sold I have never come across a mortgage company that was this easy to work with, they are very professional and keep you in the loop constantly, I cannot praise them enough, it was an absolute pleasure working with Andrew Mortenson, thank you so much.
Nichole helped with some questions I had about getting along.she was amazing and super nice .I highly recommend her to my friend and family.
