Layal was great from beginning to end. The title company held up the closing a bit due to the holidays but Pennymac and Layal were very much on top of things from beginning to end.

We started mid November and wanted to close in December. Of course December didn’t happen and they blamed it on their underwriters. So we then had to pay $2,000 mortgage for no reason because we are refinancing obviously that money went no where. Then during closing they sent me confirming emails that a notary would be coming to my house on a Saturday in January and no notary showed up because they sent the email to my title company 5:00 on a Friday and never confirmed the appointment with them.

The technology Madrid everything easy to do. I did have a little problem with posting docs. But the Penny Mac team: Austin and Phillip would step in to help and make sure it was done. Also, my husband's SSN had to be corrrected on a form and that took two or three days to fix in their end. Other than that the experience was great and am happy we went with Penny as we got a great rate of 2.89 on a 15 yr loan mortgage. That was better than Loan Depot where they offered 4.25% Were Very happy.

Communication POOR Information POOR Feedback. POOR Same information requested several times Information I received- NOT CORRECT Closing dates not even close I was not at all happy with Charles or Glen and had to get supervisors invoked several times
