Really seemed to me the right & left hand were in different worlds. I would get requests for documents previously sent. I am self employed & that is always an issue however it seemed to me as if all of the people I talked with had no idea how to handle a self employed person. I am a sole proprietor & the documents asked for don’t exist. When I called to find out what exactly I could provide all I got was the same response. Didn’t think anyone was listening. The loan was closed in a timely manner though.
Better communication and not having multiple requests for the same documents. Read the E-mails.

Our loan officer Irwing that was assigned to us after the first loan was fired, or left on his own. The points that we paid on the loan costing us over $10,000 was way out of line and should have explained to us and not hidden away in the disclosures that I am not expecting to find surprises in. Irwing took this refinance and reconfigured it to fit what would benefit himself and Pennymac never explaining to us what was going on and why. We paid way too many points.
