Great work everyone.
She communicated something different each time I spoke with her. One day I needed the trust the next I didn’t the next I did. She also asked for a divorce document and I’ve never been married.
Sandrea, was very helpful and fully explained each step in the process and was always able to answer my questions. She was great!
I feel that I did most of the work as far as following up and tracking information down. I stopped receiving weekly updates and followed up after about two weeks. I discovered documents were missing and my landlord was being difficult. Had I been informed sooner, I could have solved the issue sooner. I am an experienced home buyer, so I was able to navigate, but someone less experienced would have struggled. The entire staff that I was in contact with was very professional and courteous.
Overall the process from PennyMac's perspective was pretty smooth and Tracy was great to work with. The only opportunity I observed during this process was there were a couple of times that we talked to someone else other then Tracy and they requested info that had been requested and sent. Seems like there was somewhat of a disconnect there. If my recommendation was about Chantel Bryant only, I would absolutely recommend Penny Mac to all. Chantel was incredible to work with. She went above and beyond the call of duty to support me through the process. Unfortunately I was not as impressed with other members of the Penny Mac staff. Cesar specifically was difficult to contact. At one point I had placed 5 calls to him and 1 to his supervisor with promise of return. It took weeks to hear back.
