Great communication
I was very happy with the experience altogether. They were not pushy like some other lenders were. They responded everytime I had a question and explained everything.
I was a little stressed because I've never refinanced before and the circumstance causing me to refinance was less than ideal but I was given updates on the process each week.
Kayla and the others on My M.A.C. Team where always friendly and made sure all of my questions (and I had a lot) were answered to my total satisfaction. Kayla checked in on a regular basis to make sure I was understanding where we were in the process and what to expect in the next phase.
I really appreciated that there were people on my “team” I could reach out to with specific questions. It was very helpful to have a point person on the team who had intimate knowledge of where the process was and what the next steps were.
It was a pretty painless experience. We only had a small hiccup at closing but we’re able to get it figured out pretty quick and still close. Thank you
The process was easy, from start to finish. The only thing was the background conversations during phone calls. I could actually hear detailed information on other customers.
Overall Krystal was great. The only issue I had was when the underwriter wanted my account number to appear on my 401k statement, which it did not. I told her I couldn't find it, and she basically said it's required. I said if I don't find it I will cancel the loan, to which she did not have a response at all. It took weeks to hear from loan officer once application was approved the first time and ready to sent to underwriting. I clarified not needing to add my Robinhood statements as I will not be withdrawing funds from there, but docs were still requested. I did not get updates on the appraisal review until the last couple days before closing. On the day before closing, many parts of my file were not completed even with submitted documents from me.
