I have refiance several times and it has never been a great experience
As closing time came near it was harder and harder to get replies from either Jason Staples or Karen flores. The day of closing the closing disclosure sent to the lawyer was very different from the one that I had digitally signed the week prior. I attempted to contact Jason and Karen both by email and phone. I got an email back from Jason simply saying he would have Karen call me. Unfortunately I did not receive a call back at all, but was finally able to talk to someone 3 days later.
Ben would of ask questions instead of the customer driving the process. Ben was interrated when we would ask question. It took a whole week between Ben handing off to Mrs. Blen before the next process started. We had to figure out with support that there were two different websites being used for the gather of documents. Mrs Blen or Ben could not figure this out. Because of there zero help, it delayed the process. Bottom line lucky we have a working education of house loans and have.

It worked out fine for us as it was just a refinance to receive a lower interest rate. With over 60 days to close the loan (when we purchased the home our mortgage officer closed it in 15 days) I would not recommend PennyMac to someone purchasing a home as they would be at great risk of losing it.
Great and effortless process! Everyone I dealt with from start to end was so nice and so professional.
From start to finish our loan process was outstanding! Every question I had was answered almost immediately and the communication about the process and status was impeccable! Underwriting and closing went off without a hitch! I will definitely use Penny Mac again for future home purchases!

Angey and Kali did a great job from beginning to end. I seriously thought the process was going to be much more difficult and time consuming. They provided clear instructions and were patient with ALL of my questions. Very good experience!
