The whole experience was bad from start to finish. No one would call me back when I asked questions and I got a different person every time I called. The loan documents were inaccurate more than once and closing had to be delayed until they could get them fixed. Many more things that I could mention, but absolutely the worst home closing I have ever had and will NEVER intentionally borrow money from PennyMac again.

Provided an actual contact number or monitored email for the people working on my loan. Aside from the calls initiated by him, I was never able to get a hold of Robert G. I even called and asked to speak to his supervisor since I can’t get an answer from him either via email or messages left with the people who pick up on the 1-800 number. I still have not received a call from either one of them. My concern is about a task I asked Robert to complete on 4/15, here we are 5/6, and nothing.

Daniel Vera was phenomenal and took care of every question and need we had. He followed up on every email within a hour or less. Daniel made the loan process GREAT for us and he’s the reason we would recommend PennyMac to our friends and family. The MyMacTeam service was below expectation but did make sure we closed our loan on time.

Things were done correctly, but it’s very painful to actually call someone and get them on the line. That’s my biggest complaint but other than that everything was great
