1.- on long waiting time from some processes, a call/message to confirm the process was still moving would be appreciated. In some instances I was calling to ask for the status. 2.- I receive payment stubs in Spanish language since I work on a Mexico based company; on previous mortgage refinance, it was good enough with them and a call to my boss. Very satisfied
Johnathan P, who did our initial application was thorough and made our process simple. Laci our loan office did the same. However, there was a small hiccough because 2 email addresses were requested but this was eventually worked out by the technical department. There were duplication and what seemed to be scripted request for documents that were either previously sent or not necessary which added to the stress of a stressful situation. Glad to have Laci and Johnathan to smooth things over.

It’s just the worst in addition to what I said earlier I have heard nothing since signing my loan
I’m not very happy with my overall experience with PennyMac. It’s been a painstakingly SLOW process, but it’s people like Erica and our Loan Officer, Terrell, that keep me coming back. Erica inherited my file and it seems like ever since she took over, things have moved much faster. She’s been on top of the progress of the various stages of this loan’s process and made sure to keep communicating with me. It’s people like Erica that remind me of the excellent service that PennyMac used to stand - and stand out - for.
Since I currently have a mortgage with PennyMac, I had to provide very little documentation to finalize my refinance.
Someone who is on top of their assignments. I called many times seeking clarification on the process and timeline because the emails I was sent automatically did not match what I was being told by Anita and not matching what should be happening. Also it was clear my questions annoyed her with the attitude I could hear and that was also relayed to my wife when mentioning That she (Anita) had talked to me.
