The process was fairly straight-forward -- more than I expected. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helpful and fairly responsive.
It was great because it was all online. So I could do the work I needed to put into the process mostly on my own timeframe. It was pretty easy to get everything that was needed and the notary even came to our house for the closing. A few things got a bit confused along the way, but that is bound to happen in any transaction of this degree.
There always seems to be issues with trying to log in or even phone in when needed.
no one seemed to understand how to handle a refinance when 2 people are on the home deed but one person on the mortgage. I had to call several times to get this clarified and had to have two closings scheduled since paper work had to be change.
Very easy and efficient process, start to finish!
