Lamara could not answer my question confidently and did not offer to figure it out and then get back to me.
The members of the Penny Mac team have serious deficits in knowledge, paired with the automated system that seemed to send out requests for documents two days after being provided, I was left unsure of whether they had been received or not or whether I actually needed to provide them. In a situation that is already tense it really added to the frustration. Professional and customer service oriented, one of the best closing we have experienced.
Very unprofessional, did not return my calls timely. Documents were requested multiple times after providing what was needed. Asked to speak with manager. Manager never returned my call. Overall horrible experience.
Communication was lacking, I would have to check the online portal to see if new documents were needed instead of just a quick phone call that I needed to upload new documents. The "MyTeam" could never help me or answer questions and rarely knew anything about my situation. My closing documents had an incorrect middle initial which was called in and notified by the onsite notary and we were insured over the phone it would be corrected.
