There was just miscommunication between the loan officer and management. I had an appraisal waiver, but my closing was extended by at least 2 weeks because they kept on scheduling me for appraisals, because my paperwork was not showing the waiver. It was resolved but took longer than I hoped.

Jerrold Jackson, my Loan Officer was the most informative and the person with whom I had the most communication. No complaints about Regina, I just didn’t talk to her as much as Jerrold. The Process did take longer than I expected, but I understand there was a massive influx of re-fi request immediately following my application.

The process was easy and moved quickly. I appreciated the frequent messages letting me know the status though out start to finish. I also appreciated the kindness and friendliness of everyone I spoke to.

Left several messages for Brent nor his supervisor and did not receive a call back. The representatives answering the telephone were confused to which loan I provided. One representative stated it would close on March 30. Another representative did not know when the wire transfer would be in the ban. This is the first with the several loans with Penny Mac that the service was not great. The only person who knew what they were doing was Joshua, the person who helped me with the application.
