Dr. Penrod was not in making another appointment necessary for his evaluation and recommendation. I should have been called and informed and would have changed my appointment. We made the best of it with xrays and cleaning however.
Very happy with Penrod.
Although quick and efficient, I felt as if I was being herded through the process instead of having my concerns considered or addressed. It was nice to have digital x-rays and to be able to view the x-rays, but most of the activity happened behind me as the doctor and assistance discussed the xrays and examination... it would have been nice to be included in the conversation, instead of being referred to in the third person while laying in the dentist's chair.
the 7am time slot may have been overbooked? I had to wait about 30 minutes before the hygienist saw me.
This was the most difficult dental appointment I have ever had. I understood that it was going to be long, I was told 2 hours and it took 3 hours and 15 minutes. Three times the doctor left to work on other patients while leaving my mouth open with the contraption. It was extremely painful, uncomfortable, and gave me a huge headache. I lost the rest of the day trying to recover on the couch as if I was sick. It was really really bad.
The folks at the dentist office are very friendly and try to help resolve your dental issues in a non-cost effective manner. I was impressed with that. They are not good at follow up information - like I had requested my dental records to be sent to me but they did not do that and I am still following up with them on that.
Had a good visit and staff was great.
My office experience was good. Dr. Penrod and his assistant were kind and professional with me. The color in my front teeth is now different than the rest of my teeth. Dr. Penrod made me aware of this and he said that it may take a week or so for the color to blend. HOpefully it will. My front teeth don't look as natural as i had hoped.
Pleasant staff and nice office. I get the feeling there is alot of aggressive selling of treatment, though, so I am not sure I will continue going.
