The application form was very user friendly. The speed of approval was amazing. However, the one drawback was the start date of the repayment. Overall, the experience was good.
This is simply a warning to other prospective shoppers for a loan from Personify or similar organizations. It's hard to label them a scam but let's just say they are at the very least, misleading and take advantage of people but I digress... I did fill out their online application after carefully considering my options. In life, unexpected things happen and some people find themselves in difficult challenges that results in financial hardship or challenges. Sometimes our fault, and so many times are not. But, we can't give up, and we may need help. This is my first time dealing with this company, therefore I can't rate their CS rapport or overall service. The process was pretty easy and efficient. Of course the interest rates are high, but if you need a loan Personify works very well.
I wouldn't even give this place a star if I didn't have to. I received a "pre-qualification" letter in the mail which said I was approved up to a certain amount along with a reference number. I submitted all the necessary information and was prompted to choose a loan option that I was qualified for. I continued entering my bank information for the direct deposit of the loan. It is not worth applying for a loan with Personify Financial. They send you a pre-approved offer. You give out all your information and they even provide you different offers. Once you pick the offer you want, they ask you to sign into your online banking (account) supposedly for verification. Once they have that info too, they tell you that you are not approved for the loan. On top of that, they do a hard inquiry on your credit. So now your credit gets affected for nothing. I just was approved so have not had an extensive experience as of yet. However the application process was clear and quick. Also the one contact call I made was met with great customer service.
Complete SCAM. They ask for personal info, offer loan options, get your checking account info then turn you down! They also will not let you speak to a live person when you call. SCAM SCAM SCAM!
I have had a good experience up to this point.
