I cannot believe Personify Financial is in good standing with BBB. My 18-year-old son randomly received a check from this organization for $2000; on the back in small print was the APR-98.25%. This is the definition of predatory lending and I'm thankful that he knows better than to fall for this. Unfortunately there are many people who will get caught in a cycle of debt because of this type of lending.
Process was simple, easy and quick.
This place is a joke! A complete scam! They ask for all your information and everything except your first born! And then you still don't get a response. You ask for a manager and coincidentally the manager is unavailable. They are a joke! A complete utterly joke! They fill up your inbox with spam mail! I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to this place, not even on my worse day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are not even worth a star!
these people are scam artist!!!! its supposed to be easy and quit to get a loan and all they do is want more and more info about you. there online system doesn't work. and you give them all the info they ask for and they still want more. would never ever recommend them to anyone!!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!!!
they are misleading and beware..Got a pre approval letter went to see what the quoted interest rate was and they quoted back at 98%. besides not even being legal completely unethical...if you don't want to do business with someone refuse but don't insult them with 98% apr. and when I called their customer service people they said that can be normal based on credit ratings.....
Personify financial is in the loan sharking business; this should be against the law. Most people who would take out a loan with them are desperate and in need of help and this business will rip them off. They will never get on top. I took out a loan in May, first payment of $157 paid on May 19th and taken out biweekly after that. I called to payoff loan today effective Nov. 17h and I still owe more than I borrowed. We applied for a loan with Personify Financial it seemed like we had to provide a lot of financial information, but apparently we learned that it's our states requirement. After having to send document after document we were finally approved. My main concern is the interest rate which is extremely high, but because of our credit we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. I will be working diligently to pay this loan off as soon as I can. They're the only company that was willing to take a chance on us so I'm very thankful.
I have never applied for a loan where you have to give up all of your banking account information before you know if you are approved. I thought I was approved with all boxes i had to check as well as checking and routing number information that i had to give and then WHAMO no deal! Now i don't know if they are going to sell my information or just rob me blind!
Personify Financial came through when I needed help with moving expenses. I applied online submitted required documents and was approved fairly quickly. Customer Service is top notch. Interest rates are a bit high but when my credit score approves I can qualify for better rates. I will definitely recommend Personify
