Up until yesterday I would have without a doubt recommended pet haven, as my family have ONLY used them for the past 20 yrs.... Yesterday that all changed, I took my perfectly healthy 3yr old chihuahua to them aroumd 10am to get a nail trim, I did not go inside with him but I honestly wasn't worried at all, because they are the professionals right? To anyone that was mistreated by our former employee, I'm sorry: although I can't control how she chooses to act on social media, I have messaged her to let her know that her behavior was inappropriate and that I don't appreciate her getting involved in the concerns of our clients.
My dog has a whole in his forehead, and I have 3 dogs, which neither had been to this clinic in more then 6+ months. I called to set an appointment for the dog to see what was the cause of it (human contact, or something else). The receptionist was rude, and refuse service to my sister because we had too many no shows, yet I called a month ago because one dog was sick and they told me I couldn’t until June. Every time we try to order heartworm medicine we call in advance to tell them we are ordering online because it's obviously cheaper. They obviously are not happy about that but give us the ok and then when the meds are suppose to get shipped out they kick it back. The receptionist is always rude and will argue with you and tells us we need to come in for test even though he has had one within a year (6months to be exact). Based on what I’ve heard from others, I’d recommend finding another place to take your fur babies.
Have taken my dog there for almost fourteen years. I’m done with how they just don’t care. Indian Hills is where we are going. They have turned us away twice at PetHaven. He was in pain twice and I made that clear. My response sorry we are booked for the next week. Guess what Indian Hills got my dog in that same day. When I told them he was in pain they made an exception. Now to me that is the definition of a PetHaven.
Never will I EVER go back to this clinic. I came stumbling in the door wearing my three month old and wrestling the dog and a stroller with my one year old in it. Naturally, by the time I get everyone unloaded and coats and hats on because it’s 30 degrees outside I’m running a little behind time. They turned me away and told me because I was TEN minute late I couldn’t be seen! Why would I reschedule with people who can’t even accommodate a mamma with two babies?!

I would never go here after my friends experience today! “So today I took both my dogs to their vet around 10am. One is a pit bull, named Doey and my other one is a chihuahua, named Jake I was waiting to be brought back and decided to take my little one out of his cage and take him out. Because of how they treat my friends and their pets.
I have been taking my pets to Pet Haven (and paying their higher prices and ignoring their negative reviews- especially in regard to the shop next door) for years; I always thought “higher prices mean we’re in capable hands.” I will NEVER return to Pet Haven. Today I raced across town to pick up my dog after she was kenneled (held hostage) because my boyfriend forgot his wallet and therefore couldn’t pay the $12 bill for her booster shot.
