They call themselves "Pet Paradise", but for us it was more like HELL! If you're looking for a safe place to board your beloved pet while you're away, well look further as this is NOT the place. Our baby went from there straight to a hospital where he underwent a very painful and costly surgery ($2,200.00). Despite my daily calls to check on him while we were gone for 3 days, all I got was he's doing fine when clearly he was not. I had enrolled my puppy in daycare and she went a couple of times. I tried calling to make add'l appointments and no one ever answered the phone and I was placed on excessive holds with an option to receive a call back. I finally left call back number but still no call. I registered on line to try and make my reservations and was told two of the dates were already sold out so I assumed the delay was the reason I could not book my dates and asked to have a manager call me and gave my phone number. I called to inquire about a stay for my dog and I informed them that she takes medications for her heart. The man was extremely disrespectful and ended up hanging up on me when I asked for his name. He did not know the answer to the question and indicated he was the manager on duty so I asked who would know the answer to that question. It is discrimination if they are not willing to work with my dog who has a heart murmur and needs necessary medication. I was disappointed in this facility. I had boarded my dog for a week because of recommendations I got from three people. During the week I had watched my dog out in the splash area through the online cameras. It took the lady with glasses and a ponytail several minutes to leash my dog. When she finally leashed him she was almost dragging my dog out of the area. It's been two years since my initial review and I'm popping back on here to reiterate this place is the absolute worse. Because of the damage done to my dog (which is already a delicate breed, Great Dane) and all the mediations he had to go through and treatments he had to go through to cure his kennel cough AND his small intestine infection caused by this place (I have all diagnosis and receipts) FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT he will forever be on a restricted and EXTREMELY expensive diet. My dog attends daycare at Barkers. However, due to a job change i am needing to find a different provider. I visited today to get information and the young lady with the curly ponytail and glasses was unnecessarily rude. Perhaps her family owns this place and that is why she is still an employee. Furthermore, i know its a facility for dogs and cats but Barkers doesnt smell like shit and neither does Country Inn Pet resort. I decided to go with Country Inn. I would not recommend this place. The videos on Instagram and Facebook looks fun and exciting. but don't get fooled- its all staged! I took my dog here for a two-night stay. My dog is full of energy. always playing and happy. after picking my dog up he slept for 4 hours straight. he seemed so drugged up. what are they doing to these dogs? my dog is NEVER this tired. FAR FROM PARADISE! I had brought my dogs there for nearly ten years (boarding & Doggie Day Care). Needless to say, the quality of their services has dropped off DRAMATICALLY. This is not a knee jerk reaction review, more of a last straw review. The last couple of times I had brought my dog there, I received nothing but excuses for issues or concerns brought up. I was super excited to use this facility until I realized that your cameras DON'T in fact work, or certainly not accessible from any browser. The real kicker is how rude your online chat representative was to me just now. Definitely NOT bringing in my dog. As a user experience specialist, I can tell you how disconcerting it is when you advertise and promote heavily that I can view my dog live via your webcams, only to find out that is not true.
