I contacted Peterman Brothers through their website and asked for an appointment via an online request form, because under the plumbing tab there was no phone number. If I could give a no star I would! ****** and ****** the technicians were absolutely wonderful!! But the people in the office were horrible. First of all it is a act of Congress to get someone on the phone that know what is going on and can help. Then we were not going to do all the work and that became an ordeal. When we finally got a appointment we were texted we would be first call between 8 am and 10 am. At 10:30 am we called because we had not seen anyone. We were loyal customers for last 2 plus years. The upselling accelerated over time and we had one plumbing issue they struggled to fix, and charged us for unnecessary work that never fixed the leak. Issues can happen in any company but to not accept any responsibility was incredibly disappointing. You will overpay, nice technicians but the job is to upsell and doesnt mean it fixes your issue.
I joined Peterman's annual ************ plan at $18/month and got a check up of the furnace system including the Aprilaire humidifier. I had paid 7 months into the plan so no charge for the inspection but got charged $224.85 just for the humidifier filter on my credit card which Peterman had on file. ****** sells the exact same filter for $18.95 or $27.99 for a pack of two! I absolutely do NOT recommend them to any of my friends or family. We simply called them to unclog a drain in our bathtub because they were running a $86 special. Drain was slow but would drain in an hour. I did some research on them but obviously not enough. Guy shows up stating he doesnt have the right equipment but h*** see what he can do (he was extremely nice). No luck so he says h*** come back. purchased their membership. Told it covered hvac and plumbing when their estimator looked at my air handler. Had an issue with my boiler this fall. Called and told them I had a boiler. They sent out a tech who then told me he couldn't work on a boiler. No one at Petermans can. Why did they sell me a membership when they knew about the boiler? Terrible communication issues!!
Very unprofessional. Their salesman did not show for original sales appointment and they rescheduled for the next morning without consulting me. I was satisfied with their offer and we scheduled the install and I had to change my sleep schedule and take off of work then they did not call and did not show. I reached out to the salesman *********** and he did not respond. Better luck with a more professional company.
