MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENT CANCELLED VIA TEXT on the DAY of SERVICE I had a plumbing maintenance appointment scheduled for Oct. 7th between noon and 5 PM. I received a text at 11:27 AM confirming I was on the schedule. At 1:23 PM, I received a text stating that I needed to reschedule my appointment. I have never had a company cancel an appointment on the day of service, and I find it to be totally unacceptable. I guess Peterman really does treat customers like they are family! I am cancelling my maintenance agreement.

Wow! Be Careful of these guys...They came out to check my furnace which wasn't working properly... They told me it was shot... I called them the next day because my air conditioner, which was working fine, now won't even come on. I talked to ******* who basically said that because the furnace is shot the air conditioner won't work properly either... I said it was just working fine the day before you guys came out... he said sorry, then ghosted me... F#(^ You Shyanne
We had Peterman Brothers for three and a half years. We moved into our house and within a few months the water heater failed after being less than 5 years old that have been purchased by the previous owners of the house. So we called Peterman to service the water heater and told us we needed to replace it. We replace the water heater and less than 3 years later this water heater has failed. We had had peterman's come out other times to service our Heating and Cooling along with plumbing. We signed up for the service contract... read more
Save yourself the money and headache and go with another company. I paid ****** dollars to get a tankless water heater installed in my home 3 years ago. In those 3 years, my water heater has been down 5/6 times. By the time I get someone to come out here, its a few days, they come, tell me they need to order the part and then come back a few days later. This time, I called friday, they came Monday afternoon. I contacted Peterman Brothers through their website and asked for an appointment via an online request form, because under the plumbing tab there was no phone number. If I could give a no star I would! ****** and ****** the technicians were absolutely wonderful!! But the people in the office were horrible. First of all it is a act of Congress to get someone on the phone that know what is going on and can help. Then we were not going to do all the work and that became an ordeal. We were loyal customers for last 2 plus years. The upselling accelerated over time and we had one plumbing issue they struggled to fix, and charged us for unnecessary work that never fixed the leak. Issues can happen in any company but to not accept any responsibility was incredibly disappointing. You will overpay, nice technicians but the job is to upsell and doesnt mean it fixes your issue.
I joined Peterman's annual ************ plan at $18/month and got a check up of the furnace system including the Aprilaire humidifier. I had paid 7 months into the plan so no charge for the inspection but got charged $224.85 just for the humidifier filter on my credit card which Peterman had on file. ****** sells the exact same filter for $18.95 or $27.99 for a pack of two!
