Petro continues to schedule me the wrong way, and then I have to get rescheduled days / weeks out. I was upset and waited almost 2 weeks for a rescheduled appointment. All for the day to come and the rep called me saying he was 2 hours early! I am at work and got a late appt time for a reason! He proceeded to ask questions that I didn’t know the for sure answer too and never came to the 4pm appointment. Never looked at my concerns or issues in the basement. Worse god damn service ever,
You never came out for the service call. I had to have my tenant take time off to be around for the appointment. You canceled. Now she has to take another day off and sit and wait. Hopefully you wont cancel; AGAIN.

Hated how you guys came to deliver oil in April when I didn't need it. I understand I am on auto delivery but that's a real pirate move you guys did. Way to maximize your earnings by taking advantage of your customers.
Very disappointed with Petro Home Services, I have had the contract for one year, while they have excellent HVAC, heating services, the major lacks is that they never follow directions or write notes in the system especially for their oil deliveries. They can never seem to understand exactly what I need due to multiple errors due by others since they do not communicate with each other. Great HVAC and Furnace work, please work on other items seem is always lacking.
Avoid the North Haven branch of Petro for Air Conditioning. They installed a Trane 4 ton condenser and air handler in my Hamden, CT home in June 2021 and did a very poor job. Killed the grass where they staged the equipment for install. Broke bolts when reinstalling vents (and left them that way). Bent vent cover. Broke existing heating sensor (cost me $150 with my HVAC supplier to fix). Failed Hamden permit inspection. Ghosted me when I called four times for status. Avoid these clowns. Very inprofessional. We had no hot water and placed a service call with Petro for a tech to arrive somewhere between 6 and 9pm. Around 8:30 pm we received a phone call that the technician was on his way and would be there shortly. He arrived to find that our circulator pump had gone bad. He had the part on his truck and quickly changed it for us and had the hot water back up and running within the hour.
As usual good service 99% of the time , technicians are knowledgeable and very polite , I had no hot water , I called Petro, that morning as always customer service is good , I told them my situation , and we set up an appointment after six pm, due to I had to work, the tech showed up about 7 pm , within less than an hour furnace was repaired., my only issue , concern is the price per gallon, I feel they are overpriced, and the contract has to get renewed every year and the price goes up always, not to mention the surprise ... read more
If there is no star i can give them and they ripped you. They promise something else and deliver some else. At the time of taking service they told us they will charge according to market price but they charge more than that. Market price is 2.69-2.99 and they charged me 4.049 please do not buy heating oil from them. Introductory price is good after that they will ripped you. Please read all reviews most are the talking same about that, I am with them from 2 years they just charged me too much.
