Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Took my partner’s sister and brother-in-law here for a break from the hospital and stress. Everything was wonderful. Service was exceptional.
First time dining and told someone about it the next day. Kind of a hidden gem and a change from all the trendy restaurants. Our waitperson, Joe, was outstanding with his attention, explanations and suggestions.
Great service, never had an empty drink. Server was able to immediately answer any menu questions we had, as well as constantly came back to check on us throughout the meal and felt like she throughly enjoyed serving the patrons of the restaurant.
Delicious meal. Both of us had salmon with fingerlings and carrots. We also ordered the roasted fall vegetables. Caramelized to perfection with a drizzle of balsamic. Always an array of choices, each accompanied by wonderful vegetables. The veggies are NOT an afterthought. They are fabulous.
All great as usual. Nightly specials here are amazing.

crispy short ribs & vegetable plate were excellent
Fantastic choice of small salad with side of steak. Stir fry had excellent spice. Salmon was delicious. Service was exceptional. Good prices for quality of cuisine.
