Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Haven't done restaurant week for a long long time. We were wooed by the restaurant week menu at Phoenix City Grill. We knew it would be good just didn't figure that everything would be absolutely outstanding including the service. Jocelyn was so friendly, knowledgeable and on top of everything. What a terrific evening.
Excellent meal - prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin medallions, green beans & fingerling potatoes. Nothing fancy, but extremely well prepared & presented. Service was excellent. Lots of other good stuff on the menu I will try on a return visit. Great neighborhood restaurant.

Phoenix City Grille never disappoints. It's is probably my favorite place to go. I have never had a bad experience there. The waitstaff is phenomenal. I have never had anything that even ventured to OK, everything is always outstanding. Its where I take my out of town guests.
