Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. It was very tasty but the service was very slow. For 3 entrees and 1 dessert, it took 90 minutes.
Had not been here in years. Kind of a disappointment. I had the short rib which was good but the potatoes tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time or leftover from another day and the broccoli did not taste fresh either. The entree salad was small. We had one person at our table who did really enjoy the prime rib which was the special for Father's Day. Skipped dessert nothing really looked appealing. We haven't been to PCG is quite some time and was very presently surprised of how the menu has changes and the reasonable prices of the meals. Jocelyn was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable and vert attentive. I would highly recommend her if available.
No problems with any of our orders. Meat cooked exactly as ordered. Short rib was fantastic! Flank steak tasty and tender! Good variety in the sides. Cant wait to go back and try something new!
Father’s Day at Phoenix City Grille was wonderful, as every meal is that I have at PCG, which is one of the most consistently and reliably good places to eat. Both food and service are excellent and I am happy to honor the efforts of owner Sheldon and his great team with well-deserved good review. Great food! Go if you have not been yet, and see it become one of your favorites.
