Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. I always find the food here to be fresh and delicious. The other 4 people at our table all raved about how good their food was too. The server was wonderful and the ambiance is nice. I could actually hear the other people at my table which was really great since lately the restaurants have been too loud to even have a good conservation.

Phoenix City Grille never disappoints. We met a friend for dinner last night. She was late so we split the eggplant bites appetizer...thin slices of eggplant fried to a crunch drizzled with a balsamic reduction, topped with goat cheese and arugula. The perfect starter. Wine pours are healthy and our server was excellent. We ordered the PCG pasta, a half serving of short ribs and the eggplant sandwich. All delicious!
2nd time and 2nd chance. Nothing special and no wow factor. Thank you but we won't be coming back.
Always good food and drinks. However, I was asked if it was a special occasion (online and in person) and, yes, it was a birthday. But, no cake no dessert, no nothing. Don't ask if you're not going to offer something to the person we are celebrating.

Phoenix City was always my husband & my favorite restaurant. Now I'm treating my Son and Wife to the same great restaurant, our dinners were delicious, I even took a pie home for desert. It was delicious, so glad I decided to partake in that decision. You'll be seeing us again and again. Thank all of your employees, from the water delivery gentleman to our friendly waitress, sorry I can't remember her name, but she's a keeper. I always choose a fish entree and my Salmon and sides were delicious.
Had an excellent first visit to the Phoenix City grill… we enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer and both had the prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin for dinner. Presentation was beautiful and the food was perfection! We will be back, for sure!
