This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

My date and I went to the restaurant to have our favorite Pinot Noir, a limited selection wine called Blue Cape Cellars (2014 vintage). The overall quality of the food was wonderful, but our steak had a bit more fat in it than desirable. The manager immediately remedied the situation and re-did our order. The side dishes ae wonderful and overall the food has a lot of flavor. All the grilled dishes had a nice smoky flavor that was very tasty.
One of my favorite Valley restaurants - central Phoenix location, nice atmosphere, great food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Equally good choice for business lunch or a nice dinner out - never had a bad experience here.

Friendly staff. Great service and delicious meals for all 8 in out group. Highly recommended.
Our server was busy and was not very attentive - never refilled my water glass. We had Prosecco before dinner and wanted to enjoy the wine, but she anxiously took our order. Then she eagerly removed my guest's plate BEFORE I finished my meal. However, She was pleasant and maybe over-whelmed.

Haven’t been back for many years. No reason or any previous issue with the restaurant....just “forgot “about it. Glad we remembered that we always had good meals and went last Saturday night. Food was outstanding and our reservation was honored with no issue. Noise level was good for having conversation. We will be back soon!
Phoenix City Grille is a great neighborhood restaurant with frequently changing specials and daily favorites including the PCG pasta and burgers. The fish is made to order and fresh. The wine list competent but small. It is a great place to enjoy the happy hour or come for lunch or dinner with friends.
We had excellent meals, cedar planked salmon and a pasta entree. The server was very good, letting us know what was spicy or what ingredients were in a dish. Parking was tight nearby on a Saturday night at 6 pm, so some walking required when finding a spot farther away. Overall, good food and service and worth going back.
