Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. A good, solid 4 all the way around. $20 to $30 entrees, $30 to $40 steaks. Plenty of drinks available. I had the beef short ribs, no bones, just a good tender piece with no extra flab; horseradish mash added to the flavor profile, not many additional veggies to speak about. My wife had the cedar-planked salmon, which came out medium rare - good if that's how you like it. And my son enjoyed his flank steak. This was a great find! Fabulous atmosphere, service and food!
PCG is a neighborhood gem. Outstanding customer service, great drinks- and good food. Had the rib dinner, and while all the sides were perfect, the ribs were lacking in flavor and bbq sauce. Still a good a good night out and would recommend this place. They were very accommodating with a reservation request and the staff are consistently great.

One of my most favorite restaurants in Phoenix! My weekend home away from home! So many great memories have been made at PCG! Sheldon, Nina, and the rest of the staff are like family!
