This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

I always enjoy Phoenix City Grill. It is an Easter tradition. The staff is wonderful and always helpful and the food never disappoints.
We wanted a great meal for our last night in Phoenix and certainly found it here. I loved the fish special of grilled quinoa-crusted ono with a citrus gastrique, roasted beets, and an apple fennel salad. Delicious! My table also enjoyed the green chile burger and the beef short ribs, although those were a bit dry. Our server didn't know all of the details about the special, but she was more than happy to go find out for us. The ambience was very nice. Great lighting with beautiful hardwood floors. A group nearby was celebrat... read more
Decided to give this place a try based on the great reviews on OT. Made a reservation for 6 on a Friday night for 6:30 just 50 minutes in advance of when we were scheduled to sit down. The parking spaces out front are limited which forced us to park in the back, which was fine because it allowed us to enter PCG from the rear entrance. You walk through the kitchen to get to the hostess stand. Convenient and intersting all at once. Once inside we were seated quickly. The restaurant was packed but that did not impact the high q... read more

I arranged to have dinner for 8 people for my mom's 60th birthday. Mind you, the 'party of 8' includes adults and kids (15, 13, and 8 years old). I was traveling in from Boston and wanted to be sure we had a solid reservation and wouldn't have to wait to be served. When I looked at the menu online, I was impressed with the dinner options, but they didn't have a dessert that called out to me-- remember, I wanted to get something special for mom! I called the restaurant to see if they have any recommendations, and the manager ... read more
This was our third time eating at the PCG and it remains a winner! We brought friends with us and we all had excellent meals and our waiter was very attentive. Our entrees were the short ribs, rose lane chicken, red trout special , and pork tenderloin. My wife said the tenderloin was the best meal she has ever eaten out! The beet salad was a hit and the chocolate torte to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We hit this spot several times a year and have tried many of their menu items and specials. We never leave disappointed. Most often it is a "wow, that was great" reaction. If you've never been, try it, you'll like it. Best bread pudding anywhere.
We had a wonderful lunch (I recommend the pork tenderloin - best I've ever had) and sat on the front patio. The ambiance isn't great since it's next to the car park, but the weather was perfect for sitting outside and it was very quiet. We enjoyed the food so much, we brought a group of six there the next day for lunch. Carla served us both times and was a big part of why we enjoyed the experience so much. She was very attentive, warm and had a wonderful sense of humor. The food is excellent.
This is always one of our regular stops for Dinner or Happy Hour. The relaxed feel, comfort food and terrific menu selection make it an easy choice every time. The Specials are unbelievable and never disappoint. Service is always friendly, well-timed and attentive. Don't let the parking scare your off, there is more in the back with a rear entry through the kitchen.
