This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

The food was delicious, the service was incredibly fast and our server knew the menu very well. Overall it was great. The only negatives were the drink was way too strong and the parking situation is quite ridiculous and they don't have valet.
We had an enjoyable evening with friends. Food was good, service was good. We were able to sit and visit without being rushed to leave by wait staff.
Our waiter was wonderful. He attended to our needs immediately. This food has been good there all three times we ate there.
Phoenix City Grille continues to be an excellent dining choice. Our party was seated promptly and served extremely well. The PCG Caprese and Caesar Salad were both terrific. The beef short rib, the filet and the ribeye were really well prepared and would have satisfied any red meat lover. The sides accompanying all three dishes were perfect! There was a bit of a glitch with our order, but it was handled quickly with profuse apologies. In the warm atmosphere of the setting and the professional skill with which it was handled,... read more
We were visiting phoenix, saw this in Fodors. Looked at the menu online and decided to go. Good food, excellent, friendly service and reasonably priced. Would go again the next time we visit.
Spent the evening at the Phoenix City Grille meeting old friends we hadn't seen in many years. I'm afraid we occupied the table much longer than we should, but the staff was terrific, patient and very friendly. Food was great and the wine list adequate (although I'd like a few more selections from Paso Robles. Great evening enjoyed by all.
Nothing stellar. We sat at the bar and the bartender was polite and engaged not overly so which is good. My husband is quite the chef and we go out a lot to try food and recipes; he rated his dinner a b- Mine was a burger and very good but I'm not a chef:).
Took a friend who just wanted a good burger, which was perfect. Food was very good, service fine. Great place for good, American food. Would go back again.
Four different entrees, all terrific! The sea bass, the burger, the pork shoulder and the pork tenderloin were all hits. We've been to this restaurant many times over the years and never had a bad experience. Would recommend it highly to anyone. The menu is diverse, unpretentious and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?
