This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner and loved everything about the PCG. It was hectic since it was a busy holiday but that didn't affect the quality of food nor the service. Be sure to book a table though, especially for occasions or holidays as more and more people are discovering how wonderful this place is!!
We chose Phoenix City Grille for our New Year's Eve dinner and were very impressed with the quality of food and level of service. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere that can be suited for a regular dinner or any special occasion. Our food was excellent and our server was wonderful. We will definitely return and I have already recommended Phoenix City Grille to various family and friends.
Arrived a little early for the reservation but was seated right away. It took a while to receive service but the restaurant was very busy. Our server was very nice and personable. We started with the griddled corn cakes and they were delicious....different than any appetizer I've had before. For the entree course my dining companion had the Black and Bleu burger and raved about it. I had the Crispy Eggplant sandwich, which is the best sandwich I've had in a long time - an amazing mixture of flavors with the herbed goat chees... read more
We were there New Year's Eve. Food was alright, but not spectacular, given the prices we paid. We were seated right next to the hostess so were subjected to lots of noise from people waiting for tables.
The restaurant was nice. I ordered the sea bass special which was over-cooked. Bummer. They were very flexible with the menu though, allowing me to swap out any carbs for vegetables at no additional cost.
I love it when it's obvious that somebody really puts some thought into the business they run. PCG shows what can be done when you put yourself in the customer's shoes and then ask "What can we do better, what would I like to see?" From an extremely well stocked bar with energetic friendly bar tenders that get the job done but only seem to show up when you need them, to a competent wait staff that translates ALL your special requests to the chefs, dining here is always a relaxed and enjoyable experience for me. The food here... read more
Very good food, excellent service and nice atmosphere. It is not overly noisy as it seems to be a more mature crowd. The tables are well spaced with booths against the wall. This was our second visit and we will certainly be back.
We stopped on the way into PHX for a play, and it was a great experience, as always. Rebecca was our server, and she was happy to do 10 separate checks and made sure we had a leisurely dining experience and were on the road in time for our performance. I love the new SW influence the menu has taken on, and always appreciate the fact that there's everything from soup, salad, sandwiches to small plates and entrees to fit every appetite!
Unfortunately, I had an emergency and had to call the restaurant to cancel...however , we have been here many times and it is excellent.
