Phoenix City Grill is an inviting friendly place that creates innovative dishes. Everything has a little twist to the ordinary fare and presented in attractively designed presentation. With all the new restaurants setting up in this area, it's good to find that this terrific little place has not dropped in quality. Great, diverse menu. Fast service, overall a very satisfying place to head. It can be quiet or noisy, depending on how loud the group next to you is, but even when it's noisy, it's a happy sound.

We met a friend for dinner and had a great evening. The food was great. I have the sea bass special, my partner -- the chicken dinner, and a friend -- a good juicy hamburger with sweet potato fries. All were very satisfied. If you join their email list you will get a free dessert. We got the bread pudding that was just so-so (no raisons!!!!) and tasted more like French toast. But our friend ordered the warm chocolate brownie with gelato – and it was wonderful. We will be back.

The outstanding performance of this restaurant continues to impress me. Food is excellent with attentive but not intrusive. A true dining pleasure.

There were five of us. Four of us shared two salads to start, and then we all shared five of the small plates, which was more than enough. Each item was delicious. My favorite was the machaca stuffed green chile, but the bacon wrapped broiled shrimp was outstanding as well. Have never tried the main menu, as the small plates are so good, and so much fun to share the different offerings. Highly recommend.

Small menu, but great nightly specials, of constantly excellent American cuisine with a of Hispanic taste. Service very attentive, friendly, and not intrusive. Excellent bar service with a good variety. Recent improvements add to a great ambience with a moderate noise level-can have a quiet conversation without raising your voice. Consistent high quality. Superb week-end brunch menu with unique offerings(griddled corn cakes, breakfast taco smothered in a fried egg, etc.). A locally owned and managed neighborhood gem.

We have been here several times and the food has always been very good no matter what is ordered. Enjoyed the pumpkin cheese cake and the bread pudding. The restaurant has a very calming and relaxing atmosphere.

We have been going to Phoenix City Grill for over twelve years. Hard to believe but our recent visit for our 12 th anniversary was the best ever. The server remembered it was our anniversary and the complimentary dessert was also outstanding. We will always enjoy the fantastic meals and service we continue to get.
